■ Concept
This year, August 31st is the 16th anniversary of Hatsune Miku, making the software the same age as the character. Our online exhibition project "MIKU 16th Virtual Exhibition" is one part of Hatsune Miku's official 16th birthday celebration.
First, Music was created. Then, Art followed. Finally, a new Culture was born, and the Fan base grew. This chain reaction of creativity has continued for 16 years, thanks to all of the creators who have been involved with Hatsune Miku.
This "MIKU 16th Virtual Exhibition" is a collection of works inspired by Hatsune Miku, and is our special birthday present for her.
Fans from all over the world can view and comment at any time on works displayed in the online exhibition.

■ What is "Hatsune Miku Happy 16th Birthday -Dear Creators-"?

A project by Crypton Future Media, INC. to celebrate the virtual singer Hatsune Miku's 16th anniversary. Hatsune Miku was released on August 31st, 2007, as a 16-year-old character for a singing voice synthesizer. Since then, many creators have made music, illustrations, videos, CGI, and other media in many different genres. This project is a celebration of the 16 years since the release and a look back on the many creators who have made Hatsune Miku, and a look forward into the future of creative culture.
■ Newly-drawn Illustration
Each illustration was drawn based on 4 different themes (Music, Art, Culture, Fan)and how it relates to the artist's “Connection with Hatsune Miku.”
